The Social Committees provide fellowship within the parish by organizing activities and events throughout the year. These events encourage parish-wide participation for all ages and help foster the sense of belonging and community that is ever-present at St. Thomas.

Los Comités Sociales ayudan a aumentar el compañerismo en la parroquia organizando actividades y eventos a lo largo del año.  Estos eventos están dirigidos a miembros de todas las edades y ayudan a fomentar el sentido de pertenencia y comunidad que siempre ha estado presente en Santo Tomás. Aún cuando los ministerios sociales se ofrecen sólo en Inglés, la comunidad hispana es más que bienvenida a unirse a las actividades programadas.

Cobb Catholic Singles (30+)

Provides fellowship and support through social, spiritual, cultural, service and athletic activities for singles over 30.

 

Dinner Committee

Provides opportunities for parishioners to share fellowship in a social atmosphere three to four times each year at potlucks and other dinners.

 

Over 50’s

Provides community through social, service and spiritual activities for parishioners who are 50 years or older.

 

Picnic Committee

Organizes a yearly opportunity for parish fellowship through a parish picnic.

 

St. Thomas the Apostle Parents Association (STAPA)

Provides a community of support for stay-at-home parents.

 

African Parishioners Organization (APO)

We have a wide range of ambitious ideas that have one purpose in focus - to cater for the need of all members. .
