Pastoral Council News – October 2011
The new term (2011-2012) of the Pastoral Council of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish began with its first meeting on October 10, 2011.
The new members of the Council are:
- Paulette Djachechi
- Keith Grone
- José Luis Ocaña
- Yeyme Reyes
Members returning for a second year of service on the Council are:
- Virginia Castro
- Emma Flack
- Jim Gagan
- David Murray
- Héctor Romero
Following a discernment process, the Pastoral Council selected Emma Flack to serve as the Chair of the Pastoral Council, with Héctor Romero serving as Vice-Chair, and Keith Grone serving as Recording Secretary. These three members serve with Fr. Jim as the Executive Committee to prepare and plan the work of the Council.
Please pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as this leadership council works to build up the Body of Christ within our parish community of St. Thomas the Apostle and to help our parish membership to respond in faithful discipleship to Jesus Christ in living the Gospel.
